Orlin Edguardo Molina Reyes, 25, is facing multiple charges following an incident that played out this week in the 1400 block of G Street involving him, a 24-year-old woman, and her two young children.
Police say that Molina Reyes was involved in a domestic dispute with the woman and children - ages 7 and 3 - during which he got into a nearby vehicle and drove directly at the three of them, forcing them to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.
During the investigation, it was determined that Molina Reyes was allegedly intoxicated, and he was taken into custody after sustaining minor injuries during the incident.
Molina Reyes was arrested without incident and charged with:
- Three counts of attempted malicious wounding;
- Two counts of attempted felony child abuse;
- DUI.
His initial court date is pending, according to police, and he is being held without bond.
